Scandinavian Village has 66 homes with terraces and patios. Guests can select apartments (sleeps four), two-story villas (sleeps six), or the Cairngorm Suite (sleeps four). All units include linens and towels. Apartments offer either ground or first-floor options, accommodating three to four people, with configurations including a double and single bed or two single beds and bunk beds. Villas feature two bedrooms for up to six people, typically with a double bed and bunk beds. The Cairngorm Suite has a double en-suite bedroom, a twin bedroom, and a full-size bathroom.

Each unit comes equipped with a dishwasher, satellite TV, electric cooker with fan-assisted oven, microwave, and toaster. Villas include laundry facilities, while apartment guests have access to a guest laundry, open from 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM at no charge. All units include Scandinavian pine furniture, tables, chairs, and lighting.

Scandinavian Village is in the Cairngorms National Park, near outdoor activities. Options include climbing, skiing, forest exploration, river navigation, kayaking, canoeing, and salmon fishing in the River Spey. Area golf courses include Boat of Garten, Craggan, and Abernethy. Loch Insh Watersports Centre, seven miles from Aviemore, provides watersports between April and October. Activities on offer include: sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, kayaking, skiing, fishing, rowing, biking, archery, rafting and walking. Other activities include: quad biking, off road driving and clay pigeon shooting.

Located in Aviemore, Scandinavian Village is one kilometer from the town center and 60 km from Inverness. Landmarks nearby include TreeZone Aviemore (2 km), Craigellachie National Nature Reserve (2 km), and Strathspey Steam Railway (1 km).
